Why people liked this movie.
I had a lot of expectation when I went into the movie theatre (maybe too much hence the problem!). I've been a fan of sci-fi for many years, loved the original Alien and had great admiration for most of Ridley Scott's work.
But I can't remember ever being so disappointed after a movie. It didn't make sense, the science was laughable and the way the characters behaved just didn't make sense at all. The movie did look amazing though and if there was a Prometheus 2 I would have to go along and see it, although my expectations would be MUCH lower.
Why did you like the movie so much? Do you agree that most of the science was crap? If so, didn't it affect your enjoyment of the movie as a whole?
