Seriously though, I just watched some of the deleted scenes that have made their way online and all I can say is WOW. The conversation between Vickers and Janek was awesome and the fight with the Engineer at the end was great. Both of these should have been in the finished film.
I can't wait to see what else is on the blu ray next month but I'm also pretty pissed that we won't get an official extended edition any time soon. Most of the time I'd say extended cuts aren't necessary, but in this case it seems like they have alot of great footage to work with.
